To enable Background Tracking – you need to go the start activity button (small triangle in the top right-hand corner) and switch the Background Tracking to the on position. Then go out for a walk, run or cycle and the activity will be picked up and you’ll be awarded the points later on once it is uploaded to our server.
Accessing FAQs on the app
You can access FAQs directly on the mobile app by opening up the side menu by clicking on the "hamburger" symbol top left, or by swiping from left to right. By clicking on the Help option, you will see the screen below right.
How do I check my points?
You can check how many points you are earning in the i-Travel programme by logging into your account on the website.
You can access My Points directly on the mobile app by opening up the side menu by clicking on the "hamburger" symbol top left, or by swiping from left to right. This will list your earned BetterPoints, and which programme is awarding you the points. On the home page timeline you will see all the recorded activities and any associated earned points.
How do I log journey's from my online account?
The programme is primarily designed to take advantage of you using a mobile app to track your journeys. However, if you don't have a compatible device, you can log journeys on the website by logging into your account, clicking on My Account > My Involvement and choosing Submit New Activity.
What can I do if my journey logs incorrectly?
If your journey records incorrectly, write into us as email@example.com and we can look into things for you. It may be a case of GPS failure or if there is something else – we can investigate it for you.
