Inertia, Newton and re-igniting physical activity

As May is National Walking Month, we're giving bonuses to people who walk for at least 20 minutes a day, as well as the chance to win £100 between themselves and their favoured charity. Why not try it out for yourself to get a feel for how how it motivates people to do a little more exercise?
National Walking Month is an annual campaign from the charity, Living Streets, and encourages people to walk at least twenty minutes a day during May. The NHS says that adults aged 19-64 should do ‘at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity’ every week.
At BetterPoints, we think National Walking Month is a fabulous idea so we’re adding our own incentives to the mix, to help get as many people walking for 20 minutes a day as we can.
They will win a bonus of 10 BetterPoints every day they walk for at least twenty minutes; and each week they do that for at least five days, they will win another 50 points and an entry into our prize draw. The winner of the prize draw will get £50 in BetterPoints vouchers for themselves and a £50 donation to their favourite charity.
If you're looking for a tool that incentivises behaviour change - such as walking more - now is a good time to test-drive BetterPoints because you'll be in for the chance to win that £100.
