Faith Christian Group
FAITH Christian Group exists to fight poverty among the homeless and poor in Reading, Berkshire. We are best known for our Soup Runs in the evenings and our Tea Bar Sunday afternoon aimed primarily at rough sleepers and those in desperate need.    We are as much about listening and befriending as about just giving out free food and drink. However, we are less known for other services which we provide that you can find our projects and opportunities to get involved on Reward Your World: - ReadiFood - Stepping Stones - ReadiStreet Yes, poverty does exist, even in a prosperous town such as Reading, and we are doing what we can to try and help those struggling; we would welcome your support which can be given in many different ways.

Fibromyalgia Action UK

Fibromyalgia Action UK is a registered charity run primarily by unpaid volunteers. The majority of volunteers are also fibromyalgia sufferers who work extremely hard, despite their condition, in order to forward the cause of fibromyalgia.  FMA UK was established in order to provide information and support to sufferers and their families. In addition, the charity provides medical information for professionals and operates a national helpline.

Friends of Billesley Common
Friends of Billesley Common currently have 12 members and are actively recruiting more, so please contact us if you are interested. We have conservation volunteering opportunities each month on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. The next one is Saturday the 23rd of May. We have a walking group that meets regularly and a range of other activities taking place during the summer including Tai Chi, Pilates and Zumba. Billesley Common is a recreational area of public open space in South Birmingham, England. It is situated along the Yardley Wood Road, between the suburbs of Moseley and Yardley Wood. Billesley Common was first mentioned in 1774 as being 'common wasteland'.

Friends of Cannon Hill Park
Cannon Hill Park is the City Park located less than 2 miles from the centre of Birmingham, just off the Pershore Road (A441) in the south of the city. It runs along the River Rea from Stirchley to Edgbaston cricket ground. An area with a diverse industrial history (mainly forges and mills in the 16th Century), it is now one of city’s five premier parks and has been awarded Green Flag status. There are walkways and cycle routes along side the River Rea aimed at catering for wildlife enthusiasts, those seeking exercise and people looking for a good day out. Cannon Hill has many different habitats including, lakes, pools and a wonderful collection of trees. It is home to the Midlands Arts Centre (the MAC) and has a Ranger Service, which organizes a year-round programme of events and activities for the general public and educational events for schools.
